Blue Carbon Stocks in North African Seagrass Meadows: A Comprehensive Assessment

Abstract
We present the first comprehensive assessment of blue carbon stocks in seagrass meadows across the North African coastline, from Morocco to Egypt. Our findings show significant carbon sequestration potential that has been underestimated in global models.
